FRESNO, CA (June 16, 2021) – Emergency crews sent a woman to the hospital after a pedestrian accident on South Elm Avenue on June 11.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at East Grove Avenue around 3:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the woman was on the road at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, an unidentified vehicle hit her. Then, the vehicle fled the scene, without rendering aid to the victim.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported her to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
