Oro Chico Highway Multi-Vehicle Crash in Butte County

 
BUTTE COUNTY, CA (January 22, 2024) — A woman was hospitalized after being involved in a three-vehicle crash on Oro Chico Highway Tuesday afternoon.
 
Based on reports from the California Highway Patrol, the incident involved a white van, a blue Chevy truck, and a Chevy Blazer.
 
A preliminary investigation showed that the white van, heading westbound on Neal Road, attempted to make a left turn onto Oro Chico Highway. The van reportedly failed to yield to oncoming southbound traffic. As a result, the van clipped a blue Chevy truck traveling southbound on Oro Chico Highway. Subsequently, the blue truck collided with a Chevy Blazer.
 
Emergency responders took a woman, identified as an occupant of the Chevy truck, to Enloe Hospital for precautionary reasons. The nature and extent of her injuries, however, have not been specified.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities are conducting further investigation into the circumstances surrounding the three-vehicle collision.
