MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (December 5, 2023) — A woman was hit and killed by a car during dense foggy weather near Showers Drive and Latham Street.
 
According to reports, the fatal accident happened around 6:00 a.m. Monday. During dense foggy weather, a Walmart employee was driving through dense fog when she struck a woman in the middle of the parking lot.
 
Moments later, paramedics responded to the crash site and rushed the victim to a hospital, where she passed away.
 
At the time of the report, police confirmed that neither drugs nor alcohol factored into the accident. Following the crash, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with police investigators.
