Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Lemon Hill Avenue

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (September 27, 2021) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Lemon Hill Avenue near Stockton Boulevard Saturday night.
 
According to Sacramento Police, the fatal incident happened around 8:40 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a driver struck a woman in the 5900 block of Lemon Hill Avenue.
 
Upon responding to reports, officers found the seriously injured woman at the scene who died shortly after.
 
At this time, the Sacramento Police have not confirmed an explanation for the crash or the identity of the hit-and-run driver. However, if any witnesses have insight into this accident, please call the department.
