Man Dies in South Los Angeles Pedestrian Accident at Florence Avenue

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (September 27, 2021) — A man died in a pedestrian accident at Florence Avenue and Central Avenue Sunday morning.
 
According to the Los Angeles police, the incident happened around 3:00 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver heading westbound on Florence Avenue struck the unidentified victim.
 
Due to the nature of the crash, the victim suffered severe injuries and died at the scene as confirmed by paramedics.
 
Following the incident, the driver pulled over and waited for authorities to cooperate in the investigation. At this time, officers have yet to identify the liabilities and ultimate cause of the accident. However, any witnesses with information should consult with the LAPD.
