Woman Killed in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Hill Street

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 24, 2023) — A woman died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Hill Street near 33rd Street.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the deadly hit-and-run happened around 10:25 p.m. Friday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver of an unknown vehicle struck a 21-year-old woman crossing the street in an unmarked crosswalk.
 
The woman suffered major injuries and died later at the scene. The driver, however, left the scene of the accident.
 
Due to the ambiguities of this crash, police investigators are looking into the events that led to the crash and are asking witnesses’ help in locating the driver or vehicle involved.
