Woman Airlifted in Multi-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway near Main Street [Victorville, CA]

Afternoon Multi-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway in Victorville Sends Woman to Hospital

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (November 21, 2022) – A woman was airlifted in a multi-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway in Victorville Friday afternoon on November 18.
 
The accident happened around 1:26 p.m. in the middle lane of the southbound freeway, about a mile before Main Street. According to the CHP, a red Toyota Corolla, a white Toyota Camry, a white Ford Escape SUV and possibly semi truck collided in unclear circumstances.
 
Responding firefighters located the Corolla with major damage, the Camry with front-end damage and the Escape with rear-end damage.
 
A medical helicopter transported the female driver of the Corolla to Loma Linda University Medical Center in an unknown condition.
 
The driver of the Escape was transported by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the accident.
