Vivien Huerta-Guimont Killed in Car Accident on Pacific Coast Highway [Malibu, CA]

Car Plunges Off Side of Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu Killing the Driver and Injuring Two Others

 
MALIBU, CA (March 18, 2024) – Vivien Huerta-Guimont was killed in a car accident in Malibu Thursday evening on March 14.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:45 p.m. in the 3600 block of Pacific Coast Highway at Mulholland Drive. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Huerta-Guimont was driving along Pacific Coast Highway when she lost control of her car and crashed into a parked vehicle on the side of the road. Her car then hit a power pole and then plunged off the cliff on the side of the road.
 
Huerta-Guimont was ejected as her car rolled down the cliff. She was pronounced dead at the scene. She was 30 years old.
 
Two people inside of the parked car were hospitalized with minor injuries.
 
At this time, it is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
