Tyler Hanna Arrested in DUI Accident on Alessandro Boulevard [Moreno Valley, CA]

Police Arrest DUI Suspect after Crash on Alessandro Boulevard near Elsworth Street

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (December 27, 2022) – Tyler Michael Hanna was arrested after a DUI crash in Moreno Valley Wednesday evening on December 21.
 
Around 7:00 p.m., the 19-year-old suspect from Menifee was driving a 2006 Ford 500 westbound on Alessandro Boulevard, approaching Elsworth Street. He accelerated well in excess of the speed limit while competing with a dark-colored sedan, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
 
Meanwhile, a 2005 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was heading eastbound on Alessandro and began to turn north onto Elsworth as the two racers reached the intersection. The Ford collided with the Toyota, leaving both vehicles disabled, while the dark-colored sedan fled.
 
As a result, the Toyota driver suffered major injuries but was expected to survive.
 
Police arrested Hanna and booked him into Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs resulting in great bodily injury and engaging in a speed contest, both felonies.
 
Hanna posted a $50,000 bond and was released from custody during the predawn hours on Thursday.
