Head-On Crash near Lake Murray Boulevard in La Mesa Seriously Injures 2 Women

 
LA MESA, CA (March 6, 2023) – Two women were badly injured in a head-on accident near Lake Murray Boulevard and Dallas Street in La Mesa on Friday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 4:35 p.m. on March 3. According to the San Diego Police Department, a 30-year-old man in a silver 2008 Subaru Impreza was heading north on Lake Murray Boulevard when a 49-year-old woman driving south a 1966 Ford Mustang veered into northbound traffic.
 
The Mustang then collided head-on into the Subaru.
 
As a result, the driver of the Mustang suffered head trauma, a broken arm and internal bleeding. The 19-year-old female passenger suffered facial and orbital fractures, along with other serious injuries.
 
The driver of the Subaru was unharmed.
