Car Overturns on Highway 198 in Lemoore Killing Both Driver and Passenger

 
LEMOORE, CA (December 28, 2022) – Two men were killed in a rollover accident on Highway 198 in Kings County Monday morning on December 26.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:15 p.m., just west of Highway 41. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2004 Subaru WRX went off the highway and rolled over several times.
 
As a result, the 23-year-old driver and his 20-year-old passenger both died at the scene. They were not yet identified.
 
It is unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. Authorities do not believe fog was a factor either as visibility was at about 1000 feet.
 
An investigation is underway.
