Emilly Anderson Arrested after DUI Accident on Winton Road

 
WEST POINT, CA (December 28, 2022) — Officials arrested 40-year-old Emilly Anderson, of Wilseyville, after a DUI crash on Friday, December 23.
 
According to reports, Anderson drove a 1995 Jeep Cherokee eastbound on Winton Road at an unknown speed. At the same time, 53-year-old Sandra Rowe, from Pioneer, drove a 2008 Cadillac westbound on Winton Road at 10-15 mph.
 
As Anderson negotiated a right-hand curve in the road, she allowed her car to veer into the westbound lane. It went directly in the direction of the Cadillac.
 
The left front of the Jeep Cherokee crashed into the left front of the Cadillac. After the incident, both vehicles flipped over and landed on their side.
 
Emergency personnel extricated Anderson from her vehicle. Rowe was able to get out of her car on her own. She declined transport to a medical facility.
 
Officials arrested Anderson for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
