Early Morning Head-On Crash on Grant Line Road in Tracy Kills 2 Drivers

 
TRACY, CA (September 29, 2023) – Two men were killed in a head-on accident on Grant Line Road at South Bird Road in Tracy early Thursday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:00 a.m. on September 28. According to the California Highway Patrol, a 37-year-old Stockton man was driving a 2023 Kia Soul eastbound on Grant Line Road when he drove into oncoming traffic. He then collided head-on with a 43-year-old East Palo Alto man that was driving westbound on Grant Line Road.
 
The impact of the crash caused the Kia to burst into flames.
 
Paramedics arrived and pronounced both men dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the identities of the deceased men were not immediately available.
 
It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs was a factor. CHP officials are still investigating the accident.
