Roads Shut Down, Head-On Crash on Highway 65 in Yuba County

 
YUBA COUNTY, CA (September 29, 2023) — Authorities closed the roads following a Tuesday morning head-on accident on Highway 65 near Oakley Lane.
 
According to Caltrans, the two-car crash happened north of Wheatland. For unknown reasons, two cars collided in a head-on fashion, which prompted a shutdown of the highway in both directions.
 
Crews had to close the highway for about an hour to clean the scene.
 
At this time, traffic investigators did not specify the cause of the crash or if anyone suffered an injury. If anyone has more to add to this accident, please call the California Highway Patrol.
