Driver and Passenger Arrested after DUI Hit-and-Run Crash Nees Avenue and Marion Avenue

 
CLOVIS, CA (December 12, 2022) — Officials arrested two men after a hit-and-run accident on Nees Avenue in Clovis on Tuesday, December 20.
 
The accident happened just after 9 p.m. at Nees Avenue and Marion Avenue.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the driver of a Gold Chevy Tahoe struck a parked motorcycle. It also hit some trash cans and a telephone pole at Alluvial and Locan.
 
Clovis police discovered the vehicle and made a traffic stop at Nees and Marion. They said the driver was under the influence and brought him into custody.
 
Officers said the 21-year-old male driver fought his arrest, and they restrained him. They charged him with hit-and-run, DUI, and making criminal threats.
 
Authorities arrested the 23-year-old passenger for a probation violation.
