Woman Dies in 2-Car Crash on McKinley Avenue in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (December 22, 2022) — A woman died in Tuesday’s 2-car accident on McKinley Avenue and Jameson Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly two-vehicle crash happened around 12:15 p.m. near Central West High School. For unknown reasons, a driver of a Toyota Camry heading northbound on Jameson Avenue drove past a stop sign. As a result, the Toyota crashed into the side of a westbound GMC truck traveling on McKinley Avenue.
 
The unidentified woman in the passenger seat of the Camry, believed to be in her 20s, died at the scene. The Toyota Camry driver suffered moderate injuries, and the man driving the truck went to the hospital with his family.
 
Information related to DUI, distracted driving or speed playing a factor in this crash is unclear. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm the details.
