Deadly Traffic Accident on Highway 101 near Camp Roberts Rest Station Involves Semi Truck and Sedan

 
BRADLEY, CA (June 13, 2021) – Two people were killed in a traffic accident on Highway 101 near the Camp Roberts rest station early Saturday morning.
 
The accident happened around 12:44 a.m. on June 12, along the northbound lanes of the highway. According to the California Highway Patrol, a semi truck and a sedan collided for unknown reasons.
 
As a result, two people suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. The identities of the victims were not immediately available.
 
The crash also sparked a vegetation fire but was quickly extinguished.
 
At this time, the exact cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
