Man Seriously Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash near Avenida Mendoza

 
LA QUINTA, CA (June 11, 2021) — A man was injured after Monday’s hit-and-run pedestrian accident near Avenida Mendoza and Calle Sinaloa.
 
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the hit-and-run happened around 5:22 a.m. For unknown reasons, a driver struck the pedestrian and fled the scene shortly thereafter.
 
Due to the man’s injuries, emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported him to a hospital where he remains on life support. As of now, the victim’s family is calling for witnesses to identify the vehicle and suspect involved.
