Multi-Vehicle Accident on 15 Freeway in Baker Kills Driver, Passenger

 
BAKER, CA (July 21, 2022) – Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle accident on 15 Freeway in Baker on Tuesday afternoon, July 19.
 
The accident happened around 12:33 p.m. near the Baker Boulevard off-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved a red compact 4-door sedan, a gray SUV, and a blue pickup truck.
 
When officers arrived, they found two adults who were unconscious and a child in a baby seat was ejected.
 
San Bernardino County Fire crews confirmed a total of 7 patients, three of them suffered serious injuries.
 
Two of the seriously injured patients died at the scene. Authorities said one of the deceased was one of the drivers and the other was a passenger.
 
At this time, the identities of the victims were withheld pending notification of next of kin.
 
The CHP Barstow station is handling the investigation.
