DUI Crash on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard in Ocean Beach Injures 2

 
OCEAN BEACH, CA (December 21, 2022) – Two people were injured in a DUI rear-end crash on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard in Oceanside Friday afternoon.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, a Honda rear-ended a Toyota Tundra in the 2900 block of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard shortly after 12:30 p.m. The impact pushed the Toyota and hit an Audi Q5, which also hit a Ford F-150.
 
Authorities said driver of the Honda was found breathing but unconscious. She sustained multiple open fractures to her legs. The other driver had complaint of pain.
 
Paramedics took the victims to UCSD Medical Center for treatment.
 
Police believe the driver of the Honda was driving under the influence of alcohol.
