Mercedes-Benz Goes Airborne and Crashes into Second Story of La Mesa Home on Palm Avenue

 
LA MESA, CA (October 25, 2022) – Two people were injured after a car crashed into a home on Palm Avenue in La Mesa on Saturday morning, October 22.
 
According to reports, a speeding Mercedes-Benz crashed straight into the second story of the house near the corner of Palm Avenue and Spring Street.
 
The crash injured two people, a man in his 20s and a young boy, around 12-years-old. Both were lying down below the car when officers arrived.
 
Paramedics transported the patients to a hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries.
 
One person was at home at the time of the accident but that person was not injured in the crash.
 
SDG&E secured a nearby gas line, which the car narrowly missed before plowing into the house.
 
The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
