Amazon Truck Involved in Accident on Highway 99 at Manning Avenue in Fowler

 
FOWLER, CA (June 10, 2022) – Two people suffered injuries in an accident that involved an Amazon truck on Highway 99 on June 8.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Manning Avenue around 11:15 AM.
 
Based on a report, the company truck collided with a big rig which was hauling double trailers filled with river rock. Officers said the big rig was heading south when its driver lost control, hit the yellow attenuators, and overturned in the lanes. Subsequently, the Amazon truck behind it hit the back of the trailers.
 
As a result, the driver of the big rig was pinned inside. First responders pulled him out before transporting him to the Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries. The driver of the Amazon truck has minor injuries.
 
At this point, an investigation is ongoing. Also, no other details are available.
