Police Pursuit Ends in Crash Involving Multiple Vehicles on Van Buren Boulevard in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (September 25, 2023) – Two people were hospitalized after a pursuit crash on Van Buren Boulevard in Riverside Tuesday afternoon on September 19.
 
The crash happened around 12:00 p.m. near Jurupa Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were in a pursuit of a car traveling at a high rate of speed on Van Buren Boulevard.
 
During the pursuit, the suspect lost control of the car and crashed into two vehicles.
 
As a result of the crash, several people were injured, two of them were transported to local hospitals in unknown conditions.
 
The suspect was taken into custody.
 
An investigation into this crash is underway.
