Carquinez Bridge Blocked Following Chain-Reaction Crash

 
CROCKETT, CA (November 28, 2022) — Two people suffered injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on Carquinez Bridge in Crockett Thursday morning.
 
The Crockett-Carquinez fire officials said the incident happened on the eastbound lanes. Up to eight cars were involved in the pile-up that happened at about 11 a.m.
 
All vehicles involved sustained damage but the extent of which was not reported.
 
Based on reports, two people required transport to local hospitals. Information on the severity of the injuries was not immediately available.
 
Meanwhile, the crash caused delays in several lanes of traffic on the eastbound 80 Freeway entering Solano County. All lanes reopened following the emergency response.
 
The crash remains under investigation.
