SUV Hits Two Ramona High School Students on Magnolia Avenue in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (February 5, 2024) – Two high school students were injured in a pedestrian accident on Magnolia Street in Riverside Friday morning on February 2.
 
The accident happened around 8:13 a.m. at Cortez Street, just across the street from Ramona High School. According to the Riverside Police Department, the Ramona High School students were in a crosswalk on Magnolia when the driver of a Hyundai SUV ran into them.
 
As a result, both students suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Responding paramedics took the students to a local hospital for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, the driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
