Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Sedan on Bear Valley Road in Apple Valley

 
APPLE VALLEY, CA (September 20, 2023) – Trevor McGill died in a motorcycle accident in Apple Valley Thursday evening on September 14.
 
The fatal accident happened around 10:37 p.m. on Bear Valley Road at Savage Lane. According to the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Department, 32-year-old Shelly Goforth of Apple Valley was driving a white Toyota Corolla westbound on Bear Valley Road approaching Savage Lane.
 
At the same time, McGill was riding a white and blue Suzuki motorcycle eastbound on Bear Valley Road from Deep Creek Road.
 
Goforth made a left turn into Savage Lane in front of McGill, causing the motorcycle and car to collide, ejecting McGill.
 
McGill suffered major injuries. First responders tried saving him, but he died at the scene. He was a 23-year-old Apple Valley resident.
 
Goforth was remained on scene and cooperated with authorities. She was unharmed.
