Man Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver at 15th Street and 60th Avenue

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (January 3, 2024) – Trevon Latson was killed in a hit-and-run crash in Sacramento early Saturday morning on December 23.
 
The fatal crash happened around 2:15 a.m. at 15th Street and 60th Avenue, just behind Tahoe Park shopping center. According to the Sacramento Police Department, Latron was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
After striking him, the vehicle drove away without stopping.
 
Officers later found Latron lying on ground and was unresponsive. They provided medical aid until fire department crews arrived on the scene.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, Latson was pronounced dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the hit-and-run suspect remains at large.
