Multi-Car Accident on Crow Canyon Road near 680 Freeway [San Ramon, CA]

Traffic Reported in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Crow Canyon Road in San Ramon

 
SAN RAMON, CA (September 19, 2022) — Authorities responded to a multi-car accident on Crow Canyon Road near the 680 Freeway early Thursday evening.
 
According to the San Ramon Police Department, two separate traffic accidents happened that caused major congestion throughout the city. The first one happened around 6:00 p.m. when at least two cars crashed on the eastbound lanes of Crow Canyon Road. Reports did not say whether anyone suffered an injury in that crash. However, the roadway reopened nearly half an hour later.
 
Meanwhile, San Ramon Valley Boulevard experienced traffic as a stalled big rig on the northbound side caused congestion just south of Bollinger Canyon Road.
 
It’s unclear what led to the accident or the stalled big rig. However, we will update this report once we receive more information.
