Tomas Pedro Killed in Two-Vehicle Accident on Vermont Avenue [Gardena, CA]

Two-Vehicle Crash at Vermont and Rosecrans Avenues in Gardena Kills 1 Driver

 
GARDENA, CA (March 24, 2023) – Tomas Ramirez Pedro was killed in a two-vehicle accident in Gardena early Friday morning on March 17.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:50 a.m. at the intersection of Vermont Avenue and Rosecrans Avenue. According to the Gardena Police Department, Pedro was driving a Honda southbound on Vermont Avenue. At the same time, a Volkswagen was heading eastbound on Rosecrans Avenue.
 
One of the cars was speeding and ran a red light prior to the crash. Both vehicles were found in the center median with major damage.
 
Pedro, a 49-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The condition of the other driver was unknown at this time.
