Three Teens Hospitalized in Rollover Accident on Highway 99 near Central Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Pickup Truck Rolls Over on Highway 99 in Fresno Injuring Three Teenagers

 
FRESNO, CA (June 6, 2023) – Three teens were hospitalized after a rollover accident on Highway 99 in southwest Fresno late Saturday evening on June 3.
 
The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. near Central Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, a Chevrolet Silverado was traveling on the highway when it swerved and side-swiped another truck, and then went down an embankment.
 
The Chevrolet overturned and crashed through an electric fence before hitting and damaging two RVs in the parking lot of RV Country.
 
A girl was ejected during the crash. She along with 17-year-old driver, and another teen all sustained moderate to major injuries.
 
All three patients were taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
 
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
