Driver, Two Passengers Die after Truck Runs Stop Sign at Floral Avenue and Cedar Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (September 21, 2022) – Three people died in a fiery car accident near Floral Avenue and Cedar Avenue in Fresno on Sunday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:45 p.m. on September 18. According to the California Highway Patrol, a flatbed truck was traveling southbound on Cedar Avenue, while an SUV was heading westbound on Floral Avenue.
 
The driver of the SUV did not stop at a stop sign and collided with the flatbed truck. Both vehicles then caught fire.
 
The three people in the SUV were unable to get out from the burning car and all died at the scene. They were not yet identified.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the flatbed truck suffered major injuries.
 
Further investigation is underway.
