Two Vehicles Collide on Avenue 48 in La Quinta Injuring 3 People

 
LA QUINTA, CA (May 31, 2023) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Avenue 48 in La Quinta Tuesday afternoon on May 30.
 
The accident happened around 2:42 p.m. near Caleo Bay. According to the Cal Fire, two vehicles collided for unknown reasons.
 
Responding firefighters found one person trapped inside one of the vehicles. They also confirmed a total of three patients, two had minor injuries and one with moderate injuries.
 
All three patients were taken to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
The cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
