Early Morning DUI Accident near Carmichael Park Leaves 3 People Injured

 
CARMICHAEL, CA (May 16, 2022) – Three people were injured in a DUI accident near Carmichael Park, early Friday morning on May 13.
 
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. near Fair Oaks Boulevard. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle carrying three people had crashed in the area in unclear circumstances.
 
A woman nearby heard the crash and immediately ran over to help the victims.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and found the driver and two passengers, two of them had serious injuries. They transported the patients to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
Officers later determined that the driver of the vehicle was under the influence at the time of the crash.
 
At this time, the accident is still under investigation.
