Teen Killed in Solo-Car Crash on Quincy La Porte Road in Yuba County

 
YUBA COUNTY, CA (September 26, 2022) — A teen died in a solo-car accident on Quincy La Porte Road near New York Flat Road on Friday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the single-car accident happened around 11:42 p.m. For unknown reasons, a 19-year-old driver of an SUV veered off the road and struck an embankment.
 
The driver of the vehicle – who remains unidentified – died at the scene.
 
The driver’s 23-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.
 
Following the accident, authorities investigated the crash and ruled out alcohol and drugs as a possible explanation. However, an ongoing investigation should confirm the details of this accident.
