Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Two Vehicles on El Cajon Boulevard in Talmadge Community

 
TALMADGE, CA (September 26, 2022) – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident on El Cajon Boulevard in the community of Talmadge on Friday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:20 p.m. near 50th Street. According to the San Diego Police Department, the victim was walking south across El Cajon Boulevard when a vehicle struck her. After the crash, that vehicle did not stop.
 
While the woman was on the ground, a gold Toyota Camry also hit her. It is unclear if that car stopped.
 
First responders attempted saving the victim, but she died at the scene. Police only described her as someone in her 50s.
 
San Diego police officers blocked the boulevard in both directions from Winona Avenue to Altadena Avenue as the investigation continued.
