14-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized after Pedestrian Accident on Penman Road near Sierra Highway

 
AGUA DULCE (October 21, 2022) — A 14-year-old juvenile suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Penman Road on Wednesday, October 19.
 
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Josh Greengard, they received reports of an incident at around 8:15 p.m. Wednesday. The reports said a pedestrian was hit in a private parking lot on the 35000 block of Penman Road in Agua Dulce.
 
When CHP officers arrived at the area, they found a 2022 Honda Accord on top of a 14-year-old boy. Upon initial investigation, they determined the driver accidentally put the vehicle into reverse. Then it subsequently rolled over the teen.
 
Good Samaritans lifted the rear of the Honda. Then they extracted the boy from underneath the vehicle, Greengard said.
 
Medics airlifted the teenage patient to Northridge Hospital with major injuries. His condition is unknown as of Thursday.
