Rollover Accident on Highway 247 in Lucerne Valley Leaves 3 Juveniles in Critical Condition

 
LUCERNE VALLEY, CA (August 23, 2023) – Six people were injured in a rollover accident on Highway 247 in Lucerne Valley Sunday afternoon on August 20.
 
The accident happened around 1:43 p.m. at Lincoln Road, just near Old Woman Springs Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a black Chevrolet Traverse overturned multiple times, left the roadway and crashed through a chain link perimeter fence.
 
First responders found six injured patients and requested a total of five ambulances. Three juveniles were in critical condition and three adults had minor injuries.
 
A baby in a car seat was among those transported. One juvenile was rushed to High Desert Hospital and two other juveniles were transported to Palm Springs Hospital.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash is under investigation.
