BAKERSFIELD, CA (February 17, 2023) — A shoe repair shop sustained damage following a two-car accident on Chester Avenue near 10th Street.
 
According to Bakersfield Police, the two-vehicle crash happened around 11:00 a.m. Wednesday. For some reason, two cars, occupied by what appeared to be juveniles, crashed. As a result, one car crashed through The Big Shoe Repair building. Felipe Lopez, the owner of the business and only one in the building at the time of the accident, was shaken up.
 
Authorities did not state what caused the crash or if anyone suffered an injury.
