Sheree Fishgold Dies in Two-Car Crash on Highway 58 near Broome Road

 
TEHACHAPI, CA (June 10, 2021) — Sheree Fishgold died in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 58 near Broome Road Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident unfolded around 11:00 p.m. For unknown reasons, an officer in Barstow tried to make a traffic stop on a car. However, the driver of the vehicle refused to stop and fled the area toward Tehachapi.
 
Shortly after, the suspect driver traveling westbound on Highway 58 veered into the eastbound lane where it struck an eastbound vehicle. As a result, both drivers sustained major injuries and were immediately hospitalized.
 
Tragically, a 62-year-old passenger of the second car, identified as Sheree Lee Fishgold of Tehachapi, died in the crash.
