2 Hurt in Petaluma Pedestrian Accident on Sonoma Mountain Parkway

 
PETALUMA, CA (June 10, 2021) — Two people were injured in a pedestrian accident on Sonoma Mountain Parkway at Ely Road Monday morning.
 
According to the Petaluma Police Department, the pedestrian crash occurred around 11:40 a.m. For unknown reasons, a man attempting an eastbound turn struck the pair in a marked crosswalk.
 
Shortly thereafter, paramedics responded and transported one of the victims to Petaluma Valley Hospital for moderate injuries. Meanwhile, the other victim sustained only minor injuries.
 
As of now, officers have not confirmed the liabilities and cause of the accident. However, if anyone has additional information on this accident, please contact the Petaluma Police Officers.
