Driver and Passengers Hurt after Traffic Accident on Bechelli Lane

 
REDDING, CA (May 4, 2021) — Several people suffered injuries in an accident on Bechelli Lane in Redding on Wednesday, April 28.
 
According to Redding Police Department, they rushed to a traffic crash in a construction zone at the 4100 block of Bechelli Lane. A 2002 Ford F150 and a 2012 Ford F450 were involved in the incident shortly before 6 a.m.
 
The driver and passengers of the Ford F450 sustained minor injuries. Medics gave them medical treatment.
 
The initial investigation showed that the Ford F150 crashed into the back of the slow-moving F450, which was a construction vehicle.
 
According to the police, drugs appeared to be a contributing factor for the F150 driver. The driver also did not wear a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
 
Shasta County District Attorney’s Office continues to investigate the incident.
