Two-Vehicle Accident at 21st and L Streets in Downtown Bakersfield Involves Patrol Car

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (April 19, 2021) – Several people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle accident at 21st Street and L Street Saturday morning, April 17.
 
The accident happened just before 11:00 a.m. in downtown Bakersfield. According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, a Cadillac sedan collided with a patrol vehicle.
 
As a result, multiple occupants in the Cadillac suffered unspecified injuries from the crash.
 
A deputy was also injured in the accident.
 
At this time, it is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a factor. An investigation is still ongoing.
