Semi-Truck Collision Reported on 15 Freeway [Victorville, CA]

Lanes Closed after Semi-Truck Accident on 15 Freeway near Bear Valley Road

 
VICTORVILLE, CA (September 6, 2022) — Officials received reports of a semi-truck collision on 15 Freeway on Friday, September 2.
 
According to California Highway Patrol and Victorville Fire Department, at around 5 a.m., they received calls of a crash on the southbound 15 Freeway just before the Bear Valley Road exit.
 
The traffic log said a semi-car hauler with vehicles on the trailer rear-ended a 53-foot semi-tractor trailer. The 53 foot semi was reportedly full of frozen meats. Moreover, the rear of its trailer had major damage.
 
Both semi drivers were not injured.
 
CHP and Caltrans crews responded to the scene. They blocked the slow lane due to the clean-up from the wreck as well as to offload the cargo. Lanes were reopened after several hours.
