SAN DIEGO, CA (March 27, 2024) – A San Diego Unified School District bus became involved in an accident with a pickup truck on Ulric Street, Tuesday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened on March 26, at about 8:00 a.m. For reasons still under investigation, the school bus and a silver pickup truck collided near the intersection with Friars Road.
 
As per reports, there were students on board at the time of the accident. Emergency crews later confirmed that none of the students on board sustained injuries.
 
Responders temporarily closed the area to make way for clearing operations and an investigation. Meanwhile, a new school bus arrived to transport the students to school.
 
CHP continues to investigate the cause of the accident. Officers will release additional information once it becomes available.
