Samuel Hubbard Involved in Fatal Motorcycle Crash on Plumas Arboga Road at Forty Mile Road
YUBA CITY, CA (April 19, 2021) — Samuel Hubbard became involved in a fatal motorcycle accident on Plumas Arboga Road at Forty Mile Road Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, 60-year-old Samuel J. Hubbard came to a stop at the intersection of Plumas Arboga Road and Forty Mile Road. He purportedly looked both ways and saw that traffic seemed clear. Subsequently, the Plumas Lake man pulled into the intersection but collided with a northbound Harley-Davidson.
At some point before the impact, the 66-year-old motorcyclist applied the brakes to avoid the imminent collision. However, attempts fell short and both vehicles collided anyway.
As a result, the 66-year-old rider and his 50-year-old female passenger died in the crash.
At this time, the CHP has not confirmed the ultimate cause of the accident. However, if anybody can help the authorities, please contact the CHP.
