Rosalba Gonzalez Killed in Head-On Accident on Highway 129 [Aromas, CA]

Head-On Crash on Highway 129 in Aromas Kills 57-Year-Old Woman

 
AROMAS, CA (April 11, 2022) – Rosalba Gonzalez died in a head-on accident on Highway 129 in Aromas on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 4:00 p.m. on April 6 just west of Old Chittenden Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, Gonzalez was driving a 2016 Nissan Sentra eastbound. For unknown reasons, the Nissan collided head-on with a 2014 Honda Odyssey which was traveling westbound.
 
After the initial crash, a 1992 Acura Integra traveling west hit the Honda.
 
As a result, Gonzalez suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. She was a 57-year-old Gilroy resident.
 
Meanwhile, paramedics took the other two drivers to Natividad Medical Center. The driver of the Honda suffered major injuries, while the driver of the Acura had moderate injuries.
 
At this time, it is unknown if drugs or alcohol were contributing factors. The California Highway Patrol is still investigating the fatality.
