Rodolfo Velazquez Killed in Single-Car Accident on County Road P near County Road 60

 
WILLOWS, CA (June 26, 2023) — Rodolfo Velazquez died in a solo-car crash on County Road P near County Road 60.
 
According to the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office, 50-year-old Rodolfo Velazquez died in Wednesday’s single-car crash.
 
California Highway Patrol officers confirmed that for unknown reasons, Velazquez’s 1998 Toyota pickup drove through the intersection at County Road 60 around 5:00 a.m. and struck a raised dirt embankment.
 
The Toyota subsequently drove up the dirt embankment of the irrigation canal, causing the pickup truck to roll over on its roof. From there, the pickup truck came to a rest, submerged in the water-filled canal.
 
The Willows man passed away in the accident.
 
Authorities do not know if alcohol or drugs played a part in this accident, but an investigation should confirm new information. If any witnesses would like to help the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office with this crash, please call their department.
