Rochelle Rodriguez Killed in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash on Valentine Avenue near Floradora Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (February 28, 2022) — Rochelle Rodriguez died in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Valentine Avenue near Floradora Avenue on Wednesday night.
 
According to California Highway Patrol officers, the deadly hit-and-run occurred around 10:30 p.m. For unknown reasons, a suspect possibly driving a GMC Sierra pickup truck southbound on Valentine Avenue struck 33-year-old Rodriguez.
 
Subsequently, the driver left the scene without providing aid or making calls to authorities.
 
Soon after, paramedics arrived at the scene and tried to save Rodriguez. However, despite having received these efforts, she died shortly after.
 
At this time, officers need the public’s help in identifying the driver of this possible dark-colored 1999 to 2007 GMC Sierra pickup. Anyone with insight into this fatal crash should call the Fresno Area CHP at (559) 262-0400.
