BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 14, 2023) — Drivers faced blocked roads following a multi-car accident at New Stine Road and Stockdale Highway Sunday.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the multi-vehicle crash happened around 4:30 p.m. For an unknown reason, roughly five vehicles crashed at the intersection, blocking traffic going south to New Stein Road.
 
Firefighters and Bakersfield Police Officers responded to the scene but did not say if anyone was injured.
 
Authorities had to block off the area to investigate the crash.
