Rider Hurt in Patterson Hit-and-Run Motorcycle Accident on Highway 33

 
PATTERSON, CA (May 25, 2021) — A rider was injured in a hit-and-run motorcycle crash on Highway 33 near Lemon Avenue early Monday.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash took place around 5:35 a.m. At some point during the morning, a maroon Ford F-150 pickup struck the motorcyclist while trying to pass up other vehicles.
 
As a result, the rider suffered serious injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment. Unfortunately, the driver of the Ford had already left the scene and had continued east on Fruit Avenue.
 
At this time, police believe the truck may have sustained left-front and left-side damage and has a missing headlight. If anyone has additional information on the driver or vehicle’s whereabouts, please call the Modesto CHP office at 209-545-7440.
